Botox® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet lines and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. It is also used for other areas of the face including horizontal forehead lines.
Dysport®
Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) injection, is a prescription medicine for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults less than 65 years of age. It is also commonly used to treat crow’s feet and forehead lines in the same manner.
Restylane®
The Restylane family of products includes Restylane®, Restylane-L®, Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine, Restylane® Kysse, Restylane® Refyne, and Restylane® Defyne. Restylane® and Restylane-L® are for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane® and Restylane-L® are also indicated for injection into the lips in patients over the age of 21.
Restylane® Refyne & Restylane® Defyne in particular are two newer hyaluronic acid gel fillers for laugh lines (nasolabial folds & marionette lines) made with XpresHAn Technology™ that helps maintain natural expression in motion. So your smiles, laughs, frowns and kisses look natural and supported. We often use Refyne® Kysse in the lips where patients are looking for a more natural look where the product more smoothly moves with the lips. Defyne often finds its place in the nasolabial fold and elsewhere in the face for the same reasons mentioned above.
